Hello (:

We're in need of some advice!

We have two dogs who have recently started peeing when they are having their leashes put on. We just moved into an apartment, and they aren't used to having to be leashed when they go out to potty, but I can't seem to break them of at all! ):

It's increasingly frustrating to clean up pee every day and night when my dogs are housebroken (or used to be, at least).

One of the dogs has always had an issue with 'submissive peeing;' anytime she thought we were being dominant she'd piddle. Now that we've moved, this has gotten worse and our other mutt has started doing it also. Mostly it just happens when they are being leashed, like I said.

If anyone has any ideas I'm all ears! Feel free to ask any questions for more details.

I have 3 different rabbits... all have their own different cages... So far only one is decently litter-box trained and he was trained by his previous owners... who did a great job. I recently got an albino lop-ear and am trying to box-train her but am not so good at it. She seems to avoid the box. I pay attention to where she leaves her pee and pills and place the litterbox there but she will just choose a different place to potty. Any tips for litterbox training? I have read the part on House Rabbit Society over and over but i don't quite understand it.
I also have a 16 year old lionhead rabbit. He is arthiritic and has special needs because of a crippled leg. I put a litterbox in his cage and he takes no interest in it at all. It is low and he has easy access to it but he will not go anywhere near it. It doesn't help that he grew up his entire life able to poop wherever he stood and it would land in a tray and he is also not neutered. I have consulted a vet and they agree it'd be too dangerous to put him under.

My father rescued an Iguana from the shipyard where he works. It's a huge place and has no form of food or water that would be safe for this thing to eat.

He has somehow lost his tail, I do not know when, or the condition of his... wound. As I have not seen him yet.

After looking into what I would need to take care of him, I cannot afford it. I would really like to find someone who could take care of him. I don't have a pet shop in my area, ( I live in a really tiny town.) but the vets offices suggested I take him to the local animal shelter. Something I will not do, they are a kill shelter and I won't risk this thing dying. I'll set him loose in the woods first.

Anyway, he measures about a foot without his tail. I live in Lucedale, Ms. If no one is familiar to that area it's pretty close to Pascagoula, Ms. And about an hour outside of Gulfport, Ms, Ocean Springs Ms, and Mobile, AL.

If anyone in the area is willing to take him, please message me.

Hi!
I was just curious about something... my little guy is new to the family as of a months ago, and he's slowly becoming friendly with me. However, the more friendly he gets, the crazier he gets!
His recent thing that he's started doing has been to steal things from me and hide them!
He has found a way to get into my drawers from underneath my bureau, has chosen a drawer as his own, and has started stealing anything he likes around my room and hiding it in there! (his favourite thing is paper, and steals all of my homework and stuff!)
This has been really cute and all....until I realized that he won't let me take anything back. If I try to take it back, he yells at me for trying, and/or fights me for it.
I was just wondering if this happens with anyone else's degus?! If so, any clue why they do this? Is it territorial? A game? Any ideas?!

I have not posted in a really long time and posted somewhere else, but I remembered how amazing the people on this forum were!
I recently rescued two sister's from a friend of a friend that moved away. They clearly had respiratory problems so I took them to the vet who prescribed Baytril, Meloxicam, Vibramycin, and then also said to increase their caloric intake. One of the rats died before I could finish the treatment and even though I have 1 day left and Abi has gained weight, she just does not seem to be getting fully better. I've had rats before and I know the signs and the vet clearly thought exactly what I thought by prescribing those specific meds. Now that Sadie has died I know that I need to get more aggressive with her sister and I do have an appt. with the vet on Monday. Does anybody have any ideas of what I could ask the vet for? I don't want to go in blind and I am surprised that those 3 meds haven't made a serious improvement in 13 days! I'm really worried because she is such a sweet little lady and now that she is alone I really want to get her better so that I can move her in with my two 9 month old females once a full quarantine is over with. She can't be older than 1 1/2...she has so much life to live! Any ideas would be amazing!

Hi, I'm new to the forum and I hope someone can advise me. I have a Panda Syrian Hamster called Poppy who is about 1 1/2 years old. She looks quite normal and acting her usual self apart from ( and i do apologise for this) her toilet habits have changed. She has always drank quite a bit and urinated to match but after cleaning her out at the end of last week it suddenly hit me last night that her potty corner was still dry, I checked other areas in her cage and apart from her bedding area which was slightly damp was dry. I noticed her water bottle, which is changed every night, was virtually untouched. I immediately gave Poppy a piece of cucumber which she took off me and had ate some of it. Apart from that Poppy's behaviour is unchanged she's eating and acting her usual self. I hope someone can advise me, I don't want to take her to the vets unnecessarily as this will stress her out.

Many Thanks
