LOL! Funny pic! I am lucky. Kirby does not really mind getting his nails clipped. He just lets me flip him on his back and clip away. He might lightly pull his paw away a few times, but that is all. He is better than my dog at getting his nails clipped! My dog fights to get away.

I started the nail clipping at a very young age and now my three babies don't mind it that much. I just curl up in the bean bag with them in my lap and clip away. I have been told that I have rather unusual cats however; when they need a bath I just bring them in the tub with me. People think that I'm nuts, but that is how we have always done it.

We've been clipping their nails since day one (well, not quite), and the only time they sat still was the first time we had a vet do it.

Primus is the first cat I have really ever had in my life. When I was younger both my mother and I were allergic to cats but we have always had dogs. When I first left the dorms at college and got an apartment I was feeling pretty lonley so I decided to get a cat. A cat was decided upon because they are really the only feasable hiding option in an apartment building, especially when you work for the manager. Primus and I hit it off right away. He was just a barn kitty that we found in the newspaper around my birthday. Primus and I did everything together; watch t.v., cook, sleep, etc... One of our favorite activities was when I took a bath he would come in and make it as difficult as possible to read my book by laying on the dry area off my chest, or perch on my knees or the top of my head. After a couple of months of him laying on my chest, knees, head, (take your pick) in the tub I decided that we would see how he would like getting in the tub as well. It turned out fine. He howled a little bit but would stand on the bottom of the tub and let me lather him up. That is how we have been doing the monthly (because of my allergies) bathings ever since.
