Anyone know?

I really need this information as soon as someone knows. Having this information will really make my life much easier and relieve a little bit of stress.

Does anyone know how long after an animal eats a food that it is still excreted into the skin? How long is the residual effect of the food? Meaning if my cat ate a bowl of catfood today, how long before all that food is out of his system where it isn't excreted into the skin? Does this make any sense?
