Well, to make a long story short, the owner of Candy was indeed the lady who was in the hospital. She told me that I could bring her back to her house, but that she would have to keep her outside because she doesn't get along with the other cats or dogs. She got Candy from the Humane Society only a couple of months ago, and didn't know that she has to be an only kitty, well... animal for that matter!

So here's this poor declawed kitty who has to live outside because she was placed in the wrong home?!?!? I don't think so! I volunteer with the Animal Service League and I told the owner that I would be glad to be her foster home while the League finds that perfect home that Candy needs. The owner agreed and so did ASL, so I have to have her owner sign a release form and Candy will officially be up for adoption! Poor baby!

I was going to say sounds like a tortie, but from reading the other posts other's said that as well.... we have a dark calico that looks like a tortie the only thing that makes her a calico and not a tortie is that she has some white through her coloring. Aweeeeee the poor kitty, well I am glad you are going to foster her and find her a good home, a declawed kitty definitely doesn't need to be an outside cat!!

Pigsterz will become famous soon enough
Thank goodness you are able to foster the little darling. As NavyWife said, a declawed kitty has no business being left outside! Hope kitty finds a permanent loving home soon.
