yah! i'm having problems with my cat spraying. here is what's been going on with him in the past few days:
http://www.paw-talk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=27861

now he seems to be back to his old self and he's started spraying again. but now it's ALL the time. on everything!! he is neutered, btw. i don't know what to do.

i've heard of Felliway and want to get it. is there anything else i can do?

That's pretty simple. Your cat sounds like he is have UTI, or Urinary Tract Infection. How old is he exactly? When did the problem start?

It also could be a bladder problem. Please anwser my question for you, and I can provide farther information.

he has a history of uti's. did you read the thread i posted in my above post? he is on meds right now for that. but i believe that it is behavioral at this point. he only started doing it when i let him come out to the main house with me and the dogs.

Did curiosity really kill the cat?

What should I look for in a vet for my kittens?

He could be prone to UTI. Try the vet again, and if it doesn't show up in a culture of his urine, then come back to me.

It depends on the cat. Every cat grooms themselves a certain amount.

A vet that specializes(sp?) in cats is a good start. We go to the Cat Docter. After you find a specialist, make sure he interacts well with your cat. Make sure they are friendly, and reliable. A good sign is if they seem to enjoy anwsering your questions.

Ok I have a few questions...
How long have you been caring for cats to have all this knowledge?

Did you go to school to obtain this knowledge?

Do you work in the veterinary field to help back up the advice you are giving?
