Talking

Charlie has no nuts

well, charlie got through his neutering and is doing well! the vet techs said he was a sweetie (as usual). he peed on himself in the cage at the vet's but they cleaned him as well as they could. so now he smells like a mixture of cat pee and pina colada. but i have him in layla's old room with a sheet and pillow. he has water, a little food and his litter box. his ear mites had come back, so they cleaned them and gave me some meds to start on jan. 6 (they just treated him for it a few days ago so i have to wait a few days to give it again).

but he's really good guys! so yah! no more cohones! hahahaha!!

keep him in your thoughts for a new home.

OMG Jane! Please don't tell Charlie you announced his lack of juevos on Paw Talk! He would die of embarrassment! Glad to hear Charlie is doing well and is acting like his sweet self.

Jane...nice title! I'm glad all is doing well! Heaps of cats pee themselves after surgery. I'm not sure why but it happens a lot and we always have to try and clean them up as best we can!

thanks guys! he is ok. he's just kind of hiding behind a big tupperware container in the room or he's in the window. but he looks ok and it looks like he ate a few bites of food. he hasn't gone to the bathroom yet. but i think he's ok.

thanks for the thoughts.

carmen- he's doing pretty well. he even ate the night i brought him home and didn't puke or anything. he's pretty normal except he isn't moving around as much and i think his nut-area is a little sore still. but he's good! i'm sooo happy we got it done.

he's also covering his pee more now than he used to. i think he used to leave it "out" so that other "animals" could smell the marking liquid in it. but now i don't think he has as much of a drive to do that. so he'll cover it. and it already doesn't smell as bad.

YAH for charlie! i can't wait to find him his forever home.

well, i've had one offer from a friend of jim's in dallas. but i sent her info and she had to say no because they have a big dog. as far as i know, charlie doesn't like dogs (whenever i saw him outside he would get mad at them.) but then again, those dogs weren't the best ones to be around charlie. i'm going to temperment test charlie with penny because the one time she met him they just sniffed noses and were fine. so i'l'l see how he does with pen pen.

please keep him in mind!
