one of mine love to play with strips of paper and those plastic beer can things that hold the cans together (don't worry - he's safe he just bats them around), the other one likes to play with the small furry mice - she runs off with it to stop me taking it as if it was real

Mine love the furry mousies that rattle. All three love to play fetch with those things. They are our little puppy dog kitties LOL. Petsmart sells another cool toy. Its a hard plastic ball that rattles and it has a feather sticking out of it. My cat Pookie plays with those for hours-until he rolls them under the fridge or the stove, or anywhere else where they can never be reached again! I always have to get replacements and when I bring them home he gets so excited that he doesn't even know what to do with himself. Its so cute.

Little Cat has an issue with writing implements. They must be secured or they will be dropped to the floor and attacked, drug about and eventually lost. It "might" be my fault I encouraged her behaviour because it is so much fun to watch but it makes it really difficult to write anything by hand anymore in her pressence. She MUST take action when a pencil or pen, blatantly lay on the desk "mocking" her. It's so much fun to watch though, and when I take out a pen or pencil and show it to her, or tap on the desk, she hurries over, makes an acknowledging raspy meow/growl and "saves" us all from any evil doing that writing tool might have in mind.

Although she plays with just about anything I would have to say pens/pencils are her favorite. It might be a tie with her catnip sock, when questioned she says she has no comment at this time. I am sure she is deep in thought contemplating which is better, or maybe she is sleeping. Yes she must be sleeping on it so she can give us a clearly thought out answer, she gets so tired walking from the desk to the chair I wouldn't want her to strain herself, poor exhausted spoiled kitty.
