does a kitten get its personailty at 6 months?

thats what i was always told..our old kitties did to a point i guess but its been sooo long i cant remeber. i do rember that my old ktty bumble chnaged almost overnite at 6 months from being the kitty from ****/ninja kitty to being scaredy cat! she was soo shy and scared..its was such a different kitty. she stayed that way till she died too.
i cant rember if having her spayed did it or if she chnged before she was spayed..so many years ago.

i know neutering/spaing stops aggressive sexual behaviour but does it alter a personality or does reaching sexual maturaity alter it or does it not change?

i know bunnies are like it..it takes 12 months or thereabouts to see a buns true persona..is it 6 months with kitty cats?

I think kittens are born with their personalities. The spaying could have changed her because they don't really feel the need to go out to mate.

Yea I think cats already have there personality from the begining..i remember when baby storm was born...he was 3 days old eyes closed and personality as big as me! he was awsome...untill tragedy struck! but anyways..

I think they have a personality fro mthe start... and yes i believe spaying/neauturing changed there personality

with our old now very dead cats..we found that the sister became more affectionate after being spayed..and her personality toherwise remained intact.
Her brother was affectionate daft and loving from the day he arrived at our house aged almost 6 weeks old.
tabbys daughter was the kittenfrom **** but very affectionate..but not frightened of anything or other cats! had her spayed and she beacem frightened of her own shadow but stayed so affectionate and devoted all her precious life.
these two we have now..the boy hates to be picked up/held hes friendly and affectionae but not like our old mogs..his siter is more aloof but will let you pick her up if shes in the mood..and is very cuddly to my 22yr old housebound daughter.
but all day and night they tear up the house..dont want to play with toys..they just playfight non stop then sleep!
until today when the little girl in the space of 2 hours came inot season..omg the vets cant fit them in till tuesday!
