Found a couple of Spooks whiskers, ..whats up with that??
My cat has just recently lost a few of his whiskers, ..not sure why, or if this is even normal, ..but it sure does have me concerned. I'd found three whiskers over the coarse of 1 week. They were all in different places around the house, and it's not due to any other animals (there are none), and no kids so that rules out that they had been pulled off.
Anyone know anything about why this would happen??
Thanks! reeB

I believe cats shed their whiskers and grow new ones. Mine always did. When we were kids and we'd find a whisker, we'd treasure it thinking it was good luck

They naturally shed, like any other hair/fur. Finding 3 is really a concern unless you are noticing bald patches around the base. New ones will grow in, don't worry
