Hotel Stray

I think this is where to write this. But oh well. I just got back from a trip to Disneyland. When we were pulling up to our hotel, I noticed a little black kitten, probably 8 or 9 weeks old, running across the street into some bushes. It puzzled me, but I figured that he was someone's, as there were a lot of people around who didn't look confused as to what he was doing. Anyway, the next day, as were coming home from an exhausting day at "The Happiest Place on Earth." I saw him again. I decided to go try and talk to him and i got pretty close. I knew now he was a stray who'd found his way to the hotel, and I decided that he wasn't exactly safe in the loading zone in front of the lobby. So, I decided I'd go in and talk to the desk lady. She said she wouldn't call Animal Control unless I actually had him in possession, as she didn't want to cause a scene. So, a bit angry, I went out to get him, but I couldn't find him back in the bushes. I had to go in, and the next morning he wasn't around either, though I heard a few people talking about him. I had to leave that day to come home to Vegas, but I just feel awful about leaving him there. I know that some people will hopefully grab him and either take him home or to animal control or a rescue, who can resist a precious little rolly polly kitten? I just feel bad, like I could've done something more.

cheshirechin will become famous soon enough
It's always tough with strays. You tried to get him and that is what is important. Hopefully, you were not the only person who cared about this little one.
