I got a pregnant foster kitty today :)
We got a call from the SPCA last night that they'd just gotten a pregnant cat in and they wanted us to foster her. We've fostered for them before and we loved it so we went this morning and picked her up. She's the sweetest little girl! She's really young (they estimate that she's not even 1 year old yet) and she's so affectionate. She lived with a couple and they broke up and moved away and just left her at the apartment complex. She had been scratching and meowing at a neighbor's door for a couple days and that's who brought her in. I don't understand how anyone can leave their pet behind  She looks just about ready to have her kittens too, she's pretty big. Our last pregnant foster had her kittens literally the very next day after we got her so we've already got her little area set up with blankets and stuff. She doesn't seem stressed out at all being in our house and she's just a very pretty cat. Her fur is SO soft, it's almost like rabbit fur. I can't wait to see her little babies! I love kittens. I hope everything goes well.

Thanks everyone The pictures don't even do her justice, she's sooo pretty. I just wanna shove my face in her fur because it's so soft, lol.
When we went to pick her up, my mom's friend was at the SPCA and she had fallen in love with the cat. So the momma cat already has an adoption lined up, which is great since it usually takes longer for the mother to get adopted.
She's doing great She's been sitting in the windowsill watching cars go by. She just loves to be petted. But when you lift your hand up to pet her, she flinches and crouches down so it looks like she's been hit before She warms right up though and she's a big cuddler. Can't wait for baby time!

Oh she is darling. Such a tiny thing to be having babies though. It's good she is with people that will give her all the support she needs.
