Is this Ring Worm?

Hi,

I have a cat that has what I think is ringworm - but not sure.

The cat is wild and it's almost impossible for me to catch. If it is ringworm is there someway that I could treat it without catching the cat - maybe something in some food?

Thanks....

Mike

It does look like ringworm to me Sadly the only way to treat ringworm is with antibiotics, cremes or sprays. They even have special shampoos. Although there is a possibility that if you get a tablet form med, that you might be able to crush it and place it in the food.

Here is a great Q&A site about cats and ringworm

Here is another good site

It kinda does look like ringworm, but it also kinda looks like mange. Poor kitty.

We had a cat with ringworm once.. nothing but the sulphur dip did any good. It was a long process to get rid of.
