Question

Kitty Climber

My kitten climbs on EVERYTHING! Shes not much of a scrather but oh is she a climber. She knows by my tone when I say no to get down or I'm taking her down, but I'm not always home. I don't want her on the window seal, or the coffee table, or the dining table. I'm not sure [other than saying no and reinforcing it] how to train her not to climb on these things. Any suggestions as this is the first kitten I've had as an adult?

well the window sill, thats almost impossible to keep them down from.. alice used to climb the curtains when she was little... telling her no, and squirting her with a water bottle cured her from that, and getting on the kitchen table

The water bottle is the best way when you are home.Just don't make any noise or movement so they don't know the water is coming from you,or they may climb when your not home.Doulbe sided tape placed where you don't want them works great whether
your home or note.Cats hate haveing sticky feet.
