My Cat Loves Cantaloupe

My Lucky has so many wierd things I could write a book. He absolutely LOVES cantaloupe and when I cut one he cries pitifully till I give him the stuff I scoop out of the middle. Does anyone's cat do that? and do you know if it will hurt him? Also--all my cats love Vaseline. I put some on my lips after I brush my teeth and they will come in and beg for it. I give them just a little to lick off my finger. But...none of them will have anything to do with the Cat Lax that is flavored and made for hairball treatment!

LOL!! My Cleo would beg for anything. I gave her strawberries because I thought that she would realize that she didn't want it and stop begging, that made it worse because she gobbled it down, more like inhaled it! Also lettuce and cheese. I don't know about cantaloupe but I don't think that it will hurt them. I actually think that it is good for them to eat those things,. a small amount, just most cats don't like it. I have only ever fed cantaloupe to my mice My cat Oscar is really wierd though, he doesn't beg for meat and doesn't eat it (except he does beg for canned cat food, but thats all) but he begs and begs and begs for water. And it isn't like he never gets water because he gets tons! He always has a full bowl, drinks from the toilet, licks drops of water leftover after your shower, jumps on the sink whenever you turn on the water, and drinks from your cup (if you let him). How strange! But I love my naughty spoiled boy <3

haha! Thats so funny about the canteloupe..and kendalle- my dog always does that too. My mom will have a glass of water and she wont want hers, just my moms. It always has to be cold or she wont want it. So funny.
