AeonHail is on a distinguished road
Red face

Oh kitty, where art thou?

Ah, kitty's discovering newer and better hiding places around the house. Are there no other effective ways of luring other than waiting it out?

Kitty treats! My mom has her cats trained (well, they learned it by themselves really) to come running when they hear the treats rattle!

Becki I was going to say the same thing, we use those pounce treats, I think the cats like the rattle of the can and to play with the can more than they like the actual treats

Pigsterz will become famous soon enough
Wellington used to do the same thing. He would head for under the bed or in the closet. We use one of those "fishing pole" kind of cat toy that he loves to chase.

Mine come running if I tap a spoon on a can of food and call their names!
Two of them come if I whistle for them...
One could care less - she's the aloof one who only does things on *her* time, including asking for lovies

All 3 come running when I shake the container of Cosmic Catnip!

If they are hiding they will come out to eat when they get hungry...

Do you know where the cat is hiding? If you need to get the cat out from under a hiding place you can gently swipe the floor with the broom handle, kind of poking the cat from behind to move them foward... then the quick snatch when it's within reach.

I had to use this method last week when Abby was hiding under my bed- she'd wriggled out of her e-collar and I didn't want her under there where I couldn't see if she was going to try to chew on her sutures. I used one of my crutches though...

Kramer loves Pounce kitty treats so when I want to find him I shake them and he comes running and if its time to feed him all I have to do is open the can of food and he shows up meowing
