Having a cat as a pet (or roommate, if you prefer) is an enriching and worthwhile experience, once you've established the ground rules. Contrary to popular opinion, cats can be disciplined, and actually should be – it's better for both of you. And the lessons learned about self and mutual respect can come in handy in other areas too, if you're not careful.
