Weird Things She Likes To Snack on

I have a couple things that are strange that my cat likes to take a nibble of. The first one is Ranch dressing. When I'm finished with my salad she comes sniffing and gets a few licks of the dressing. What could be in it that she likes? Another item that she will sneak into is my lemonade!! What is her problem? lol! She sneaks into my glass and licks and then she will shake her head and get some more. She is having plenty to eat and drink elsewhere. Do you think she is just showing me affection and that she is the boss?

lol, she might be doing it because she just wants to eat what you eat. maybe she thinks she is a person.who knows for sure what animals are always thinking
some animals just like to eat weird things, ranch dressing and lemonaide may just be something your cat thinks tastes good.
animals are weird,i mean what is the explanation(sp?) for my dog Molly chewing rocks and eating sticks and anything else she can get in her mouth.? she just likes to try new foods or something.

LOL Ranch dressing, wow!
Our Marla eats ketchup, and like licking tea out of my husband's cup every time he makes it. She also likes oatmeal and cereal, lol. Probably a milk thing. She also likes spaghetti noodles.
And our Lucy, well, she doesn't really eat anything weird. She's not one for handouts and such. (Which is probably good, since she's verymuch over weight.)
Silly animals.

shadow likes carrots but only if they have ranch dip on them lol

as for my cats....Millie used to eat almost anything. She would climb up my back trying to get to my plate and she would eat whatever was on there too if i let her. Buster....he still eats anything. If I give shadow scraps, Buster tries to steal them from him. My animals are nuts though.

My cats love to try to steal anything out of our glasses even if the tea is still steaming, we do what we can to keep them from stealing it but sometimes they sneak in and get to it. My cats favorite thing to steal was a watermelon juice i was buying in the summer. they would stick their paws in to my glass if the juice wasn't close enough to the rim of the glass for them. But as of late it seems to be bath water for them and for button blueberry muffins. We do what we can to prevent them from getting the sweets but we will give them veggies since those are actually good for them as long as it isn't onions (they are poisonous to cats)

Who knows; animals are silly. Our Sprout will knock the trash over and growl at her sister over cucumbers, watermelon and broccoli, but she has no problem sharing tuna...go figure.

My cat is obsessed with coffee (specifically, Tim Horton's coffee). It's not good for cats (can be toxic if they ingest too much) so we've started putting covers on our coffee, lol. Every now and then though, we'll give him an empty Tim Horton's cup with just a few drops of coffee left in it and he goes nuts. He sticks his head right into the cup and wears it for awhile, until he gets every last drop out.

Mine LOVES beer. I keep him out of it if at all possible, but he drinks it out of glasses, cups, bottles, cans...

You just can't leave it unattended at my house. I've had a few friends holding a cup in one hand and then turn back and it was gone. >.<

My white manx loves spagetti but has to have the red sauce on it. She's such a mess afterwards also as it stains her face/fur. My little one loves lettuce and cheerios. My other one steals the babyfood peas from my praire dogs when he gets a chance. Think he likes it just because he sees the prairie dogs eating it. Dips his paw in it while they are eating and licks it off.

My cat is a weirdo. He won't eat cat treats, but he will eat, Tabasco.
We used to have a cat that liked to eat leftover cream gravy...after it was 2-3 days old.

Hey DorkyChantelle, Had your cat been drinking coffee when you took that photo?
