pictures of my baby

Sorry I haven't posted here in horsey section for some time. My horse is my second most favorite pet I have and I have a zoo. I spend more time with Shilo than i do with my husband, kid(17) and anyone else on this earth. I finally brought my camera today to the barn and took some new pictures that I thought I would share.
I love this picture even though I cut off his nose a bit.

My friend took a picture of me when we went out today.
Shilo is now 16 year old Quarter horse, I've had him for 10 years. We have dabbled in different things like dressage, english flat work, and competitive trail riding. We are best at trail riding, that's what we both love~ me and my horse, but I no longer compete with him.

I had to resize it, here it is

Thanks Becki! I just noticed your post. I think I'm also going to post a view of his home from top of a hill. I board him at a very good barn 8 miles from my house- he is very well taken care of and believe me it's not easy to say those words about every boarding place!

here is Schococharie Ridge Farm~ Best place to board a horse!
and believe me I've moved my horse all over until I found a place where I was happy with everything.

If your seeing those 2 pointy things sticking up in the landscape picture of barn, that's Shilos ears with his little hat on to protect against bugs.
