I haven't actually done show jumping, but when I was a kid I would set up jumps in the yard and ride my horse over them.

I love watching it on tv. They are so graceful.

gorgeous horses! I myself am too freaked out to do it. I wouldn't want to end my life that way. I am sure it is a wonderful experience. I mean i have fallen from horses and after some bad experiences people wonder why i ever go near them but I wouldn't want to fall while jumping 5' and be paralyzed for the rest of my life. Its scary. I think I may end up reining, or cutting. Maybe Dressage. Something not-so-dangerous. lol

I dont think its scary at all its the feeling you get when you can get your horse to do what you want at any time when jumping so you can say you have (almost) total control

BTW the brown horse was sold a month ago

I've got two new ones (both are for sale)
one younger age 3
and one aged 11
the younger one is still in training for the real thing
And im taking the older one for a practice jump this wednesday

below the younger horse named Timo
