Ruddy Copper
Lycaena rubidus

Description 1 1/8-1 1/4" (28-32 mm). Male above bright copper, sometimes with darker cast; female dull gold with black spots and brownish shading. Below, both sexes nearly white to pale yellow; FW has black spots, HW immaculate or with black dots (lacking any red markings).
