Crittercall is on a distinguished road

Save the Whales!

We need your help!

Save a critical feeding ground for endangered humpback and
northern right whales before the conservation review period
ends in October! Stellwagen Bank is a wildlife rich ocean
ecosystem off the coast of New England. This feeding ground is
threatened by pollution and excessive fishing pressure. Ask your
representatives to fully protect the bay to help save humpback
and northern right whales.

WHY FULLY PROTECT THE BANK?
* 7 out of 10 New Englanders support creating fully protected
areas within Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary. These
areas allow ecosystems to recover and provide a safe haven for
species that are threatened or in decline.
* Current protections for Stellwagen Bank will be reviewed
through October, so we need to let federal oceans officials know NOW
that we want to protect it.

Thank you for your help!

Care2.com

**Care2.com is a great site - it has lots of info on all kinds of different animals and has links you can go to and click on an animal and their sponsors will donate money for land to help - i.e., Big Cats, Marine Life, and even Breast Cancer. I've bought some things from their store, too, and never been disappointed in what I've bought. If you haven't checked out this website, I suggest that you do if you have any interest in saving some of these animals so that they'll still be around for our children/grandchildren/great-grandchildren to see.
