"White Butterflies" - Pine White

Pine White
Neophasia menapia

Description 1 3/4-2" (44-51 mm). Male and female above white with heavy black markings around FW tips and along FW costa; female also shows network of black veins around HW margin above and below; on male this pattern is only below. FW below black at rear margin with pattern of large white spots; female has bright orange or crimson outlining to HW pattern below.
