Crazy story to share.....
My daughter just called from NY. She was in a large
pet shop there and saw an aquarium with a sign, "Big Gerbils $9.95". Well she was shocked to find out theses were not gerbils but Degus! Where do they come up with this stuff? They have to place an order with the animal suppiers so it's on their invoice that they are Degus. I have never heard of a
pet store charging only $10 for a degus, I use to get $45ea several yrs ago ( I don't breed them any more) and the local stores by me are now charging $39.95. They short changed themselves all the way around. DUH Plus are they selling gerbil food to go with the degus?
