Degu because they seem so amazing, friendly, fun and I really love taking care of pets so I'm thinking really hard about it, but there is one thing that keeps me wondering... the
cage? I read a really interesting and detailed article on a website about making your own cage and i am so very keen on that but then I think that if I go wrong then it's a bit of a waste of money? I could just buy one of them crappy £90 ones but I heard they kick the bedding and hay everywhere which would really irritate my mother (who hates all my pets
) Another choice would be to buy a piece of furniture and transform it into a cage but I'm really not keen on that at all due to the fact it may look a bit tacky and I want their cage to look good... so it's either buy a £90 cage (there's only one in the pet store near me) or make my own for around £60 (but I could horrendously fail but I guess I'm ok with woodwork) or I could transform a former cabinet or wardrobe into a cage, I need some advice!?
