If it's the one with the metal bottom, it looks like a decent cage. I use one similar to this:

I've also heard that the Martins cages are very nice, though a little pricey.
In my cage, I just use carefresh bedding on the bottom level, and nothing else on the ramps and other floors. I know the mesh isn't good for their little feet, but they spend so much time in their hammocks (just a scrap of fleece safety pinned to the ceiling... for some reason they only use them when it's fleece *shrug*) and on their plat forms and perches that the mesh doesn't seem to bother their feet. Since there is nothing on the levels, it lets everything just fall through to the bottom, so I don't have to constantly wipe out their cage.
