Degu hammocks? - Paw Talk

Hello I make hammocks and I wont lie I don't know the first thing about degu's but do they like hammocks? I'd like to add them to the list of pets that like hammocks but I don't want to say something that isn't true.

. My own degu prefers beds but most degus seem to love hammocks.

Degus definately love hammocks although they are known to chew them (first had experience at that

) so when choosing material choose something a little more resistant

Yes, mine LOVE hammocks too. There are days when my little Imana won't come out of hers for anything! She has discovered a way to drink out of her water bottle while laying in her hammock!

Mine don't chew through theirs, but I bet a lot of Degus would!

I made one from heavyweight denim and metal chains to attach it. It lasted a little longer than the other 3 I purchased before! LOL! But they DO love them!
