Degu Introductions - Help!

So I got two 15 week olds a few weeks ago to keep my 2 year old company (he'd just lost his brother). I kept them apart a week and a half, then introduced them in a bathtub. That went very well! maybe 5 minutes and they were grooming each other and no weird noises. Then the next day I put them together again and the elder was trying to groom the others and they started boxing so I separated them. I've waited a few days since then and put them together tonight. I think the elder bit one of the new ones (not to draw blood but he pulled out some fur) and I had to separate them. This has now thrown off the dynamic between the young brothers! What do I do???

Give them a few days to cool off, keeping the cages near each other and continuing the usual mixing up bedding, sharing dust baths, etc. If he didn't draw blood it's not a huge deal.

How long were they together before that happened?
