Ed with the big head
quick question, ive been breeding degus in ireland for the past few years and i have nver seen anything like one of the little fellas i have at the moment. ive named him Ed caus he has a odd shaped Head...he is about one month old, his eyes and much further apart than his brothes and sisters, and his head is alot larger almost dome shaped. just want to see what people think of this one.....apart from this, he is perfect, running about with the rest of the gang, eating solid foods, perfect apart from his big ED....but he is the cutest little one ive ever seen..

Yes pics are needed here Hard to say maybe a birth defect of some kind or how he formed in the womb.

You can either host them on a site like photobucket or attach them as you have done
From looks of it might be a birth thing, he may grow out of it as he is only young, how old is he?

Ed is about 3 weeks old, had him out taking pictures of him just a while ago and i noticed that he is not bothered my noises at all, had my dogs locked the the other room while taking pics and they wouldn't stop barking, ed on the other hand wasnt bothered at all, so i covered his eyes and clicked my fingers beside each of his ears to check his hearing... not even a flinch so im starting to think he may be deaf. when i went to takle him out of the cage, the rest of the gang were hanging out upstairs, including bro's and sis from the same litter, but Ed was on his own downstairs. he still has other while with mammy so once he's ready ill just keep him with daddy, ive fallen for the little guy and my excuse is i cant get rid of him if theres something wrong with him (",).. ill keep uz updated. here he is with his bro. can clearly c the difference in head width.
