looking for some cage designs

I want to take out the levels that are in the cage that I have for my two girls and completely redo it any ideas on how? Im thinking maybe those wood peices that secure to the sides of the cage. I dont like the levels because they are wire mesh, so I cover them with some paperbags and cover it with bedding. but of course the bedding gets everywhere. Just thought Id check see what everyone is doing with their cages and there is no need to worry about where their bed will be because its one of those hanging things (i think it was supposed to be for birds but they love it)

I'm a big fan of hammocks... They can go every where, and most animals love to snuggle in them.
You could also try and find a very big degu safe branch, and put into the cage. Maybe even a couple.
I like to buy some wood I can cut out myself, and make these into shelves.
You can make so many different things this way.
I know this is made for chinchillas, but it may give you some inspiration: http://deedee.dk/?id=914 <-- just scroll down, and you will see some pics

Amethystbelle will become famous soon enoughAmethystbelle will become famous soon enough
Branches, rope, ledges, hanging tubes and hammocks are all good to create different levels and interests
