I buy them over the internet or if i have the time i dry them myself. If you have access to hazel, hawthorne, blackberry, strawberry, raspberry and dandelion leaves its pretty simple to do. I wash all the leaves i collect and leave them to dry and then i bake them on a low heat for 1 to 2 hours depending on the type of leaf and remove them once they are crispy. I haven't attempted flowers yet i usually buy them

I think the leaves add a natural feeling to the diet plus they are good for the degus teeth too
