New babies!!!

Hi everyone! Yesterday afternoon, my Pookums gave birth to at least four new pups! Her cagemate, Alfalfa, is being a wonderful Auntie to the babies, too. Now, do I need to supplement Pookums with anything special while she is lactating? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance,
Susan

Thanks for the congratulations, everyone! It's so exciting to have little ones around. I was curious, though - is it possible for the other female to nurse the babies too? She was pregnant when I got her (although I did not know that) and miscarried two pups soon afterwards. (Stress related, I'm sure) The pups do seem to snuggle into her like they are nursing. It's very interesting to see the cooperative effort in action!
Thanks again!
Susan
