ooops i did it again

so i had 4 degus and at the weekend i adopted another as he didnt get on with his cage mate well today i adopted another his owner gave him up for biting her he has bit me twice so far but i no some time and love will help him i just think they all need a chance when their owners have let them down so i have 4 in one cage and i have split the other cage in two for the new ones to have a half each it is a big cage else i wouldnt have done it but its got to be better than the boring tank at the pet store they have loads to keep them entertained now and they can communicate with each other

i will update you all when my finger is able to type again

LOL thats nice of you to take care of the degus that are left there... I really want some more degus but the only problem is that I THINK that maybe, just maybe, one of my degus is pregnant. While I was picking my degus up I saw 3 little teenage girls jabbing at the tank with their fingers and flicking, knocking/punding on the glass and the degus were hiding from them... poor things..

i know what you mean when i adopted bowser there was a rabbit and so kid ran up and hit the tank

i hate people who dont educate their children and themselves thats why i now have 6 goos lol

the newest one who ive called rambo apparently bit his owner probably due to lack of handling and they said in the shop that he had bitten the vet when she tried to sex him which is not shocking really

but with both of my newbies they were like we have got to try and put you of them because they are agressive and i was like its probably fear they have both been very responsive to me they just need a chance and some love and patience

You're right, I think a little time and love and he may settle in nicely. And some Degus decide they'll never enjoy being handled - but you can still give them a happy, healthy life. I'm glad you adopted this other little homeless Goo. They all deserve a chance!

rescued goos

i really hav to stop rescuing goos, see i work in a pet shop, any unwanted goos that come into the shop automatically come home with me. 11 adults, 9 babies, yes i do have my hands full, but love each and every one of them.
