Pics of my baby degus

Well, only one of them can really be called a baby. The other one is grown up, but shes still my baby. Gugi is the big one and DeDe is the little one. Gugi is the one running in the wheel. Dede is the one sitting and eating. She looks sooo fat in that pic, but she's not. sorry if the pics are big or something. I've never posted pics on here.

Gugi and DeDe said thanks to all of their fans. Yeah, the wheel is definitely better than the wire rung ones. But in near future I'd like to get one of the solid ones with the completely open front, you know it looks like a bucket, but they are expensive.

Here is something that I found in a German degu forum. They built the wheel by using a cake springform (12 in.), drilled a hole and put inline skate bearings there. How? I donīt know, maybe a man could figure it out

Thanks! I'll definitely look into the cake pan wheel thing. I bet my dad could figure that one out. When he does, I'll share the info on how to make one with the forum.

They are so cute!!

I would love to own a degu! I know they're in relation to a chinchilla, so I'd already have stuff for them.

Alas, hubby would say no.
