Plaese help! - Paw Talk

Hi everyone! I'm new here and I was wondering if anyone could answer my question. I have 3 degus. 2females and 1 male. Lately the male (Diddy) has been squeeking non stop for hours on end and I can't get him to stop. It usually happens during the day and its very loud. Does anyone know why and if there is a way to get him to stop. TIA

Do they all share a cage or does the male have a separate cage? Could the male be calling for the females or, could he be in pain - sorry hun, not sure what it could be I'm just throwing possibilities at you?

If they are in seperate cages.The male may be warbling to the females.It is not uncommon for males to make noises.They are very vocal even the females.
My male will make a weeping sound especially after mating or when babies are born.
Out of all my pets I found degus to be the loudest of all.
