hi all! one of my degus fennec might have an
eye infection and im worried. this morning i noticed one of her eyes was almost completly closed and grey/white stuff was gathered in the corner of her eye. she was still acting as normal and i never see her and her sister fight so i dont think its an injury. i tried to clean her eye with a cotton ball with water on it but she wouldnt let it get close. i checked in with her all day and nothing changed. i called the vet and she said i should brng fennec in if its still like that tomorrow. does it sound like an eye infection? if so what should i do? im a little worried about the vet because she said she doesnt know that much about degus.
