Question

Pumice Stones

Can Degus have Pumice stones?

They're made from cooled lava found around where Chinnies are native, and I'm pretty sure that Degus are from the same place. I just want to know if it's safe to give them some

I just bought some for my Chinnies yesterday and I noticed that they actually EAT them. I was suprised to see that my girl chinnie ate hers so fast! I thought they just chewed them for their teeth

Yes, they can have them . Mine have one in their cage, it was one of their presents last year for Christmas.

Mine don't eat them, though, they just chew it.

Ooh, I didn't know they could have pumice stones. I think I'll get mine one for Christmas this year.
