What in the world is a Degu?? If someone could tell me that would be great.

A degu is a rodent ... it looks similar to an oversized gerbil.

Don't feel bad ... they aren't as common as hamsters and gerbils in the pet trade yet.

They are from Chili ... in the Andes Mountains ... like chinchillas.
