I just found 8 babies from a pair of my dwarf hamsters. I didn't think they could have that many....

This is her first letter and I have never had a pair have more than 6. I am still in shock. My mommy rat had 17 this last litter. that was a shock too. But I am really shocked to see 8 Siberian Hamsters in there. She is being a good mom too. She was not moving off her babies. But I gave her a treat and then I counted 8....wow!
