She's probably just grinding her teeth, i have noticed mine do it occasionally one more than the others normally. I have checked all mines teeth too and all perfectly normal so nothing to do with their teeth being too long. What i think is its just a case of them swirling the water round in their mouths probably to remove loose debris such as food etc.... and as they do it they grind their teeth. As i have noticed they do it more after eating than at any other time I wouldn't worry too much, i would check her teeth and if they are fine and shes normal i wouldn't worry at all

Yes, it is easy to panic i agree it alarmed me the first time i heard Basil doing it but i checked him over and he was as fit as a fiddle and his teeth were and still are perfectly fine and he's been doing it for the last 3 years so i wouldn't be over worried

My Tinkerbell does it all the time. She has done it since she was just a little thing. We just figured it was a nervous habit that she doesn't even know she is doing, although sometimes if you chatter your teeth back she'll chat with you like that for a while.
