Tail Bites
I adopted two new girls this past weekend, they are both two and very lively. Their teeth more white than orange, I'm hoping I can help that with feeding them the food I feed my own Girls. Anyways, one had a tail bite that is in the process of healing.
Should I take her to the vet? It's not bleeding or pussing and is scabbing up quite nicely. I have them both in a seperate cage. After the initial squeaking, wheeping, and yelling once I put the cages together stopped, all five seemed pretty chill.
They don't seem to want to rip each other apart. The new girls are also smaller than my smallest one, Carrie (who happens to be a loudmouth troublemaker!) so I'm guessing there will be a lot of grooming and mounting going on once I put them into the big cage with my three older girls. (one is four and a pair who is five)
Fatty and Subaru have a passing interest in them, but they all seem very curious about each other.
Thanks!
