I always thought degus were adorable no matter what age they are.
It's not like that with all animals, (just most of them), but it's definitely like that for degus! Also, I'd like to all introduce you to a great website, sanctuary, and overall a great place.

They're also incredibly healthy, with great teeth, fur, eyes and ears.

Hello and Congrats and Welcome to the forum! Degus, as some of you may already know, are also called Chilean Ground Squirrels.
Octodon Degu is their scientific name. In their natural habitat of Chile, Africa, they burrow and live in the ground in the like-manner of chipmunks and rabbits/hares. Female rabbits/hares only ovulate after a male has mated with her, so do degus.
