The Girls are Home!!

Picked up the girls from the shelter today! We decided to get three, a mother/daughter pair and a niece/cousin

The baby is still nursing...she should be until next week..anything I need to keep an eye on there?

They're adorable and scared to death..poor girls! We're trying to stay away and let them settle in...but my boys (8 and 9) are due home from school in an hour and there goes the quiet!

They named them last night...(the boys did) Padme, Leia, and Ahsoka (Star Wars JUNKIES!)

I dont' want to scare them with the camera right now..so pictures to come.

Aw congrats on getting them home You have done the right thing leaving them alone letting them settle in. The best thing to do is to sit and talk to them gently for the first week and don't rush it let them come to you on their own terms and have lots of treats to hand Regards the baby she should be fine as degus are independent from the day they are born
