I have tunnels for my chinchillas that the degus love too, i also have a foldaway cat house covered with carpet that they all love to hide in especially when its time to go in I know some people have large hamster balls left out for them to get in and out of if they want, i don't personally as i let my guys in my hallway and they love running up and down the stairs but its an idea if its just in a room
