Travelling with Degus

I've been looking into traveling home with my Girls as I cannot find a sitter. It looks like WestJet is my best bet by air. They will allow two animals per kennel in cargo plus one in the cabin. That means I'll be able to take my three degus with me. The flight is two hours.

VIA looks like my best bet by land. They store all the animals in the baggage car and will even provide a cage for you. This means I'll be able to keep the Girls together and they even allow you to check on them every few hours as long as you are escorted. By rail, my trip will be twenty-four hours.

Has anyone travelled with degus before by air or rail?

hahaha only in the car,just make sure its chew proof and escape proof, i had some in my car, some in my friends, at one point i looked in the rear view and saw one running accross the dash board..i had been wondering what she was beeping at me for....funny, very funny......
