Grrr!
You know it is sad no matter what when people have to give up their animals but when they are as terribly neglected as the little guinea pig that was abandoned with us yesterday it makes me want to shake people. She is so matted and frightened and dirty, her cage was filthy though new shavings had been put in. Her backside was soaking wet because they tried to rinse her off so she was freezing. I guess some days are just longer than others.

Hopefully she can be rehabilitated. We named her Bennie and gave her her first veggies yesterday.

Ugh how bad is it that I DREAD pulling into works parking lot in the morning because I know something will have been dumped over night, and as you know, winter can be so harsh on all these guys left outside at night.

Do you guys have a lot of rodent type animasl in needs of homes? I think I'm good for cats and dogs but always on the lookout for litteler guys that need homes or foster homes.
