Hi, I help moderate a small section of a new forum, dedicated to Canadian shelter rats. I check and update listings everyday, and I am even in contact with one of my shelters Small Animal Coordinators so I sometimes can get "insider" info...lol. You do not need to be a member to view the postings.

Don't forget about the rats languishing at the shelters! They deserve good homes too.

I joined the forum& contacted about the rats in Ottawa...they don't ship their animals out to other provinces I really did want those ratties.
Sadly there isn't any rescues in Newfoundland...but i'd love it if you can find some rats that are looking for homes currently in the province?...since i'm really out of luck& my only "option" is buying from pet stores...& that's not something i'll be doing anytime in the near future
So if you hear of any rats in Newfoundland needing homes,be sure to post.They'll definately have a home with me
