15 B.C. Gerbils in need of a home!

Hi Everyone,
I have just recently been in contact with a lady by the name of Lisa at the Small Animal Rescue Society of BC (SARS BC). This society is a non-profit virtual shelter run by volunteers here in B.C.
There is currently a man with 15 gerbils in Chilliwack that need to re-home, as he is sick with cancer & has to go to Ontario.

As they are only a foster network, to take in any animal they need foster homes.
I’m going to see what I can do to help, but unfortunately the small room I rent is currently filled with my 11 gerbils, dog and boyfriend
If anyone can help these little cuties to find a home, or somewhere in between please e-mail Lisa at LHutcheon@hsf.bc.ca

Thank you!

Andrea

Small Animal Rescue Society of BC

www.smallanimalrescue.org
The Small Animal Rescue Society of BC or SARS BC is a provincially & federally registered non-profit organization (Our charity number is 86169 0436 RR0001) comprised of volunteers and services throughout British Columbia/Canada.

Everyone one with SARS BC is a volunteer and no one is paid to work with the animals. Our primary focus is to rescue and rehome any small animal in need. Neglected, injured and abandoned animals are our primary focus.

Unfortunately due to the sheer number of unwanted small animals we can only consider taking in "owner surrendered" animals if we have a foster home available. We will however help owners to rehome thier animals in every way possible.

We are a virtual rescue - meaning that we do not have a physical shelter at this point. Instead, we rely on a network of volunteer foster parents that take care of the animals in their homes. That way the animals get a lot of one on one attention and the special care they all deserve.

SARS BC was founded in October 2004 and we have since found around 300 forever homes for small animals in need and we currently have many more in rescue who are patiently waiting for their turn to find a wonderful new home.

Don't breed or buy while homeless pets die! Opt to Adopt!
