Hamsters are desert animals they don't drink much. Especially in a new home they take time to adjust

They are doing pretty good. Panda finally drank from the water bottle a little bit but by pushing the little ball and licking the water from her paws. But they are starting to squabble a little bit with each other. They have been eating the hamster food but only the small little bits of it.

the squabbles are normal i would only seperate at 7-8 weeks ( given they are the same gender) or if they draw blood.

yeah it's been pretty tame. There has been no blood or anything like that which is good. I'm just glad they are starting to do better now. I wish more people knew not to give the babies any breed to early. |

But i guess that would be to much work as most of the time they want money for giving away younger animals. I remember i got my first cat when i was starting to date my husband a woman was letting them go at 5 weeks old.

I adopted mine at 6 weeks after he was trying to rehome them at 4 weeks unsexed and he hadnt even kept track of age.

She didn't even bother telling me when i first talked to her when they were born until i asked. Most people barely even tell anyone who gets a pet from them when they were born and they pretend that they have no idea.

this was my moms ex fiance ... luckily he sent e a pic the day she was born. I dont understand people who arent open about the pet
