Pregnant hamster- remove wheel?

Sadly, the weaker ones probably won't survive. That's just nature--very harsh, I know. Patches had 10 babies, but only 8 survived. One died within a week, another at about 2 weeks. They had birth defects though-although they were both very small. They had abnormalities in their abdomens that they couldn't have lived with. The other 8 were very strong and healthy!! I kept CoCo!! He's fiesty!!!

I'm sorry I haven't posted; the forum wouldn't let me (I thought it was a bit odd...). Well, 7 of them survived and I found 3 of them happy homes, the rest are back with my neighbors who are keeping 3 of the babies (all males, but they don't know that ). The sad part is, they took the mom and dad (and one of the babies) to the pet store. I felt bad, the mom went through so much just to be taken to the pet store. They were given $7 per hamster, though! I thought that was interesting, but then I researched the breed and it is said to be somewhat rare. Thanks for all of your help!!!
