question bout dwarf hamsters
 hi i was wondering about whether or not dwarf hamsters still do the dirty  even though they are pregnant? i know ust about everything else but that lol  i want to know because i want a general idea of when she might have babies. this will be her first litter and i want to make sure she gets all the quite and stuff she needs.

=_=;; Dwarfs can get pregnant right after the baby's are born. Separate the male from here to avoid her giving more litters.
Let me tell you...you dont sound very intelligent asking this. This is basic information.

Your question was not very clear, so I don't think it's fair to be upset with this website.
Yes, they physically can mate, but the female typically will not go into heat and be receptive to a male while she is pregnant.

I'm new to this forum and I must say, I'm quite shocked at the replies you got! Not very helpful at all. I can't say I know very much about breeding hamsters, I imagine its pretty much the same as any other animal, they can have sex while pregnant and can get pregnant again straight after giving birth.
How did it go with the babies? I bet they were so cute <3
